This is just a very short article giving a review of subliminal messages and explaining the way they work

The word subliminal itself actually explains how the process works. It means “below threshold”, a person’s “threshold” or capability regarding taking in something that they notice is what subliminal audio plays on.

Whenever we are awake and conscious we all may perceive the things around us, but only to an extent. There are numerous things that are continuously occuring in the background of our every day lives and we never even realize it. These kinds of background events demonstrate how subliminal audio works.

Say you are walking across the street and you notice the vehicles and men and women moving about around you. While walking, you hear your own thoughts, a car horn and a crowd talking. Those three things are the apparent perceptions, however , you may have unintentionally listened to someone in the group state that they are going to start taking it easy and slow down their pace a bit.

You didn’t actually hear that voice stand out from the others and also you didn’t take time to recognize it either. You just keep walking on to your destination. If you approach the next intersection the light turns yellow, instead of rushing across the sidewalk as you normally do, you decide to slow down and wait for the next light. You have just been affected by subliminal messaging, although all of this could have happened and you will never have known.

The same concept lies in purpose driven subliminal messaging. When there is a goal or topic to be absorbed via messaging, the subliminal messages play in the background without you ever noticing them.

After enough of this unconscious perception, the topic or goal will start to ‘unconsciously’ play out in your daily life all without any real practice or effort. Effective subliminal messaging does take a willing mind as with all self-help practices, but the effects and end results are amazing, just like the science behind it all.

Compulsive Behavior can be painfully and even embarrassingly disruptive in our every day life. So many people suffer from it that it is now the fourth most common mental disorder. Unbelievably, compulsive behavior is diagnosed as often as diabetes and asthma. It can stop you from being able to work, socialize, or even look after your family in the way you want to. You may have heard the term OCD, which is short for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and perhaps you are concerned enough to ask some hard questions - “Do I have OCD?” And, “What are causes of OCD?” This article will help you answer these questions.

First, what are symptoms of obsessive or compulsive behavior? A key is, that though you may want to stop it, even if you promise yourself or a loved one to change, the behavior has a mind of its own, and returns before you know it.

It can take its form in so many different ways -

Excessive hand washing

Hoarding

Repeated checking

Aversion to certain numbers

Opening and closing doors a certain number of times before entering or leaving a room

Walking up or down stairs in a certain way

Lining up contents in cupboards or closets in an exact way

Turning lights on and off and counting repetitions

Checking and rechecking to make sure the house is locked

Rituals required before certain actions

Intrusive repetitive thoughts

The list goes on, but the point is that these compulsions bring stress and anxiety to your life, while normal habits bring a feeling of peace and order. There is a huge difference between the two. Intrusive thoughts in your daily life produce fear, worry apprehension and uneasiness which in turn trigger the compulsions.

What are causes of OCD? Much research has been done in recent years and frankly, it is still somewhat of a mystery. There are theories that some kind of brain dysfunction is at fault, though rest assured brain function and reasoning ability are not less than that of those without OCD. Other possible causes, or at least factors involved, seem to be genetics, brain chemistry, depression, trauma, even infection. Possibly there is a combination of these factors. So you see, it’s not your fault! The important thing is to do all that can be done to get relief.

If you are suffering from compulsive disorder, then it can affect your daily life with family, friends, and even work, and can cause you embarrassment. Sometimes people are unkind, do not understand your struggle with this, and will accuse you of having no will power. If they only knew!

Let’s take as an example, people who are compelled to lock up their home in a certain way when leaving. If they go out without doing it their certain way, then they may be in a state of panic the whole time they are out. Much as they may struggle to dismiss the need to go check, it perisists, and ruins the evening out.

Some believe they know exactly what caused their compulsions, but others are unable to pinpoint what started them. All they know is that they want to stop but cannot. But take heart, because there is help for you to get life back under control.

There are therapists who specialize in OCD

There are medications available from physicians and psychiatrists

For those who would choose to try a natural non medicated approach, there is a relatively new method of help – subliminal MP3′s. These are recordings which when listened to over time, can message your subconscious, and often without your even being aware of it. A great benefit is that you can use it any time or place you can listen to a recording, even when going to sleep.

If you have achieved some recovery, but feel yourself sliding back to your compulsion, you can re-listen to your subliminal MP3s and they can pull you back to where you want to be. More people are finding self-help for OCD to be a valuable part of their plan to recover and lead a more normal life. Getting whichever help you decide on, is the first step to removing the stress of the compulsion from your life.

Help is out there! You deserve to start feeling better about yourself and enjoying your family and friends.

Before the bathroom, before tooth-brushing, or breakfast, you check your email. Your loved ones are begging you to break off spending so much time in front of the laptop. Seem familiar?

It’s easy to get hooked by email addiction, because it follows a pattern called “intermittent reward.” Experts know the quickest way to cure a habit or form a habit in a dog is with reward. When the reward is not predictable, the habit grows faster.

We check our inbox for a reward: a communication from a loved one, a critical answer to a tech question, a random surprise that can improve our day. Sounds totally reasonable. And it is.

Yet the very structure of how we receive these communications reinforces the intermittent reward system and plugs right into our animal brain. We page through piles of useless email looking for that gold nugget.

Here are 6 simple tips to help if you fear you are addicted to email. The idea is to interrupt the process of random reward.

1. Identify the extent of your habit. How much time do you spend in front of your email? How much time reading through what is essentially junk and time wasters? Is email addiction causing you anxiety? It’s critical to recognize and assess the actual impact it is having on your daily life.

2. Use your email program filters to automatically select out and remove non-essential mail. Employ labels and folders to collect legitimate communications from friends, family, or work. No need to comb through junk. I have several categories that bypass my inbox and go straight into the trash. This stops the “sometimes” rewards so your experiences become more predictable.

3. Set a realistic block of email time, perhaps divided into 2 or more 15-45 minute daily sessions. Set an alarm if you must, so you don’t go over the time. After awhile you will adjust the time to meet the need.

4. Figure out how to separate your correspondence into categories of “action needed” and “information.” Answer “action needed” email right away, and save your” information” email to do all at once later.

5. Take back the phone! Handle everything you can by phone. Tell your correspondents you want to use email to set phone appointments for real time conversation. Bring back the human contact email may be replacing in your life. Loss of human contact is one of the needs that may be feeding the obsession with email.

6. Be gentle but firm with yourself during your changes. Only check email during your scheduled times. If you have a deadline for a critical assignment, try shutting your email down for awhile to see if you will accomplish more. Let others know you have decided not to let email control your daylight hours. For important matters, ask others to call you on the phone. Reward yourself with real human contact.

What is the best hypnosis for anxiety and panic attacks? This is a very topical subject at the moment. Because of the growing concern about drug treatments and their side effects, and even questions being raised about their effectiveness, people are searching out natural treatments for anxiety.

Mind relaxation techniques are being talked about as the natural way to help with severe anxiety symptoms and how to get over panic disorder without medication.

Drugs and therapy have become really popular treatments for panic attacks, but many patients want to take personal control of their problems.

Are your panic attacks becoming more frequent and making your life unbearable? Have you tried many medications and finding the side effects are something else you are having to deal with? Would you be happier using natural remedies for anxiety?

There is an amazing breakthrough in help with panic attacks using subliminal methods. If you have recently read articles on stress and panic attacks, then I’m sure you would have read about subliminal MP3′s as a new and exciting advance in anxiety treatments. For example, there is hypnosis for musical performance anxiety.

They can work a lot quicker than the normal therapies such as drugs or therapy and more importantly, it means you are personally taking control of your own problems. Habits and thoughts are extremely hard to break, but with subliminal messages, you can learn unconsciously to move towards change. They help you to have an idea of how you want to be feeling, rather than how you are feeling. Mind relaxation techniques really do work.

So how do subliminal messages work?

They are a form of relaxation and hypnotism that pushes the desired message through to your brain.

They tap into the subconscious mind. You slowly achieve your goal because, always at the back of your mind, there is something that compels you to achieve.

There are different types of Subliminal MP3′s for use as the best hypnosis for anxiety.

Regular- beyond frequency.

This sounds like normal music, playing at the correct speed. But the message is embedded inside the song, although you cannot hear it. The message goes directly to your brain.

Reverse method

This is literally playing the music in reverse. The message isn’t easy to absorb and it is hidden. Your brain has to work to decode the message.

Multiple Messages

In a single track, several messages are embedded in the music. The brain can easily decipher and comprehend the messages. You will not know the messages, but your brain will.

The message as part of the song.

The message forms part of the song. You learn the song and the message goes into your brain.

When it comes to treating panic attacks, it’s all about changing your mind set for when you find yourself in the types of situations that bring on the attacks. It might be a fear of crowded places, meeting new people, flying, talking to groups of people. We all know the list is endless but for some of us, panic attacks stop us from having a normal relaxed life. The physical symptoms of anxiety are scary and embarrassing. We just want them to go away!

The benefits of using Subliminal MP3′s as the best hypnosis for anxiety.

Unlike hypnotherapy, you do not need to be in a trance like state.

You can do other activities while you are listening.

If you are close to a panic attack, you can instantly play your MP3.

You can listen any time of the day, for around 20 minutes.

If you have had a good period without attacks and they recur, then just listen to your MP3.

There are many choices of messages, such as, Stress relief, Insomnia, boost self confidence, ego control, develop charisma, hypnosis for travel anxiety and of course, to stop panic attacks. These are just a few examples.

Wouldn’t it be a relief if you didn’t have to be taking medication everyday, or be visiting a therapist on a regular basis. Not just from the physical point of view, but medication taken on regularly is also very costly. You could just sit relaxed at home, or in your car, and listen to some music. While you are listening, messages are finding their way into your brain to take away the panic you feel when confronted with your ‘challenge.’

At the moment, your mind is controlling you and causing you to have panic attacks. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could find the best hypnosis for anxiety that suits your needs. To be in a position to control your mind and never have another panic attack.

Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD, as it known, is not a modern illness. It’s only now that we recognize it as a genuine problem, that we understand many people need help to reclaim their lives.

The earliest record of stress reactions to battles were noted as early as the 600 BC. The Greek historian Herodotus noted that one Athenian soldier, who fought in the Battle of the Marathon, suffered no personal injuries, but went blind after seeing a fellow soldier killed.

Later, in the American Civil war, it was called “Soldiers Heart,” in World War I, “Combat Fatigue,” in World War II “gross stress reaction,” and in the Vietnam War, “Post Vietnam Syndrome.” Other terms in the past for Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder were “shell shock’” and “battle fatigue.” So, when did the term post-traumatic stress disorder come into use? Actually, only in the last twenty years or so.

Exactly what is PTSD? You may be wondering if you suffer this condition. PTSD is an extremely severe anxiety disorder that develops after personal exposure to an event that causes psychological trauma. Usually there is a threat or perceived threat of non-survival. We lose our ability to cope with every day life, and small stresses can have huge impact.

Post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and treatments are gaining more and more attention as our lives are becoming increasingly threatened by our sometimes violent and rapidly changing environment.

Many post-traumatic stress disorder case studies are being done by various specialists to try to constantly improve the treatments available.

What causes Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Physical or psychological trauma, in some cases even both.

Sexual abuse as a child; traumatic foster care.

Rape.

Kidnapping and torture.

Watching some-one killed.

Terrorism.

Combat situations.

A life-threatening medical diagnosis.

Divorce.

Unemployment.

Symptoms of Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Flashbacks.

Nightmares.

Problems falling asleep and staying asleep.

Anger.

Hyper- vigilance.

Avoidance of places or things that remind one of the event.

Anxiety Attacks and Anxiety Disorder.

If any or all of these symptoms go on for more than one month, then it moves from being “acute stress disorder” to PTSD. It can affect your life in three different ways: acute, chronic, and delayed onset.

It has been found that children who have not been given the correct treatment after a traumatic experience, may well go on to developing PTSD in their adult lives.

Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms can occur when a person has suffered a traumatic event and it creates an overactive adrenaline response. This creates deep neurological patterns in their brain. These patterns persist a long time after the event that triggered the fear. You then become hyper-sensitive and can develop anticipatory responses to future fearful situations.

I remember reading about someone suffering from PTSD saying “I hate my brain! If I could just shut it off for a while, I might be able to relax again! I’m so damn tired of being afraid!” To me, that statement eloquently summed up their living hell.

The biochemical changes in the brain and the body displayed by PTSD are very different to those of say, clinical depression. Also, people suffering from PTSD show a high secretion of Catecholamines, the fight or flight hormones, and a low secretion of Cortisol, needed to manage stress, in their urine.

Along with the brain functions, these lead to a finding of abnormality in the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis, important in affecting mood.

Post-traumatic stress disorder treatments.

The sooner treatment is sought, the sooner you can take back control of your life. It is really important to make the treatment fit the patient, not the other way around. There are many choices available as treatments, including natural remedies for anxiety.

Drugs for anti-anxiety

Drugs for anti-depression

Psychotherapy groups

Individual sessions

EFT

Subliminal MP3′s

Statistics show that 7-8% of people in the USA could possibly develop Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder in their lifetime. In the case of rape victims and combat veterans, it can be as high as 30%.

We have to offer as much help as possible to anyone suffering from PTSD, not just in the way of drugs, but to make them feel safe again in their daily lives. If you feel you suffer from PTSD, seek help. There is no shame in this. Many famous people throughout time have suffered from anxiety. You can retrain your brains, body and emotions back to a normal response to every day life.

You will be surprised to discover how many famous people through history with social anxiety disorder suffered during their life-time with this challenging condition.

When you suffer regular panic attacks, I’m sure you think you are the only person in the world who cannot cope with the situation that causes them.

Well, I’m going to tell you about some really famous people who suffer from panic attacks, so that you can see that anyone can suffer from panic. Articles on stress can make you think panic attacks only happen to the ‘man on the street’ and famous people are immune.

Famous people through history with social anxiety disorder.

Sigmund Freud—the great man himself, suffered from panic disorders. It eventually forced him to research the cause and effects. His research probably laid the base to all we now understand about panic attacks and associated disorders and he wrote many articles on stress related problems, stress definition, anxiety and depression symptoms.

Chloe Mandeley — Daughter of the famous Richard and Judy interview couple. Chloe has been competing in the ice-skating celebrity show. Her panic attacks started when she was around 20 years old and she has been trying to manage them with treatment from a therapist. Before skating for the show, she has suffered a full blown panic attack, and once, in the middle of the live-aired show, she experienced an attack during her routine.

Donny Osmond — The famous singer, experienced his first panic attack in 1994 during a performance. The attack stopped him singing and made him feel as though he was going to pass out. He became scared of shopping centers and crowds. After working with a therapist, it was decided he suffered from cognitive behavioral therapy and treatment was successful.

Barbara Streisand — The wonderful singer stopped singing in public, after a concert in Central Park in 1967. She forgot the words to several songs and suffered from a panic attack. It took her 27 years to summon up the courage to start live performances again. She started again in 1994, building up gradually from TV to small live audiences. Now, she can perform amazing concerts in Vegas. What a blessing for us that she was able to overcome her panic disorder. Maybe, if hypnosis for anxiety performance anxiety had been available, she could have recovered earlier.

Sir Lawrence Olivier — He needs no introduction. He actually never developed his panic disorder until the peak of his career. It just shows that panic attacks can appear at any stage of your life.

Rebecca Gibney — Australian actress (Flying Doctors, Halifax FP, and much more) When interviewed in 1996, she related how she had suffered panic attacks. Once, she was in the middle of filming, realized she could not remember her lines, suffered sweating and anxiety breathing symptoms. She eventually had to leave the set. In the same year, attending the Logie Awards, Rebecca suffered a complete panic attack with shortness of breath, nausea, shaking, etc, all the physical symptoms of anxiety. She was unable to take her seat at the awards.

Sally Field — Well known actress of more than 40 years, having won 2 Oscars and many other awards. She admits she has suffered from social phobia, eating disorders along with anxiety attacks most of her adult life. She believes her anxiety problems pushed her into her first marriage too quickly and helped to end her second marriage with Alan Greisman. She feels they were very different characters. Alan enjoyed social occasions while she wanted to stay at home most of the time to avoid public functions.

Nicole Kidman — Well known actress. She admits she suffers extreme panic when it comes to Red Carpet functions. Nicole has breathing problems, her hands start shaking when confronted with important functions.

William Scott — former weather reporter for the Today show. He tells of how he suffered a panic attack seconds before going on air, he couldn’t breathe and his mind was extremely confused. He suffered severe anxiety symptoms, so much so that the studio called a doctor as they were sure he was having a heart attack.

Kim Bassinger — her first attack frightened her so much that she was home bound for several months until she had some therapy.

The list could go on for ever — Burt Reynolds, Cher, Carly Simon, Joan Rivers, Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, and even Abraham Lincoln. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

All these famous people through history with social anxiety disorder have managed to overcome their problems and go on to a much better life.

Now you can see you are not alone when you are reading all those articles on stress, panic attacks and manic depression symptoms. There are millions of people all around the world who suffer panic attacks.

There is lots of help out there for you once you decide what road you want to go down. There is no shame in asking for help, so that you can also resume a normal life.
